Clinical Features
- Polyuria, polydipsia, and polyphagia
- Fatigue and blurred vision
- Slow-healing wounds
Care and Monitoring
- Monitor HbA1c levels regularly
- Perform daily foot exams for ulcers
- Educate on glucose self-monitoring
- Encourage consistent carbohydrate intake
- Assess for signs of hypoglycemia
