Reference Range
- 0.4–4.0 mIU/L
Interpretation
- High TSH indicates primary hypothyroidism
- Low TSH indicates hyperthyroidism
- Monitor for symptoms like weight changes, lethargy, or heat intolerance
- Ensure compliance with thyroid hormone replacement therapy
