Chi-Square Test
The Chi-Square test determines if there is a significant association between two categorical variables.
Applications
- Analyzing frequency data, such as gender versus treatment compliance.
- Determining if observed frequencies deviate from expected frequencies.
- Used for nominal or ordinal data sets.
Requirements
- Data must be in the form of frequencies or counts.
- Sample size must be sufficiently large to satisfy expected cell counts.
