Descriptive Statistics

Descriptive statistics summarize and describe the main features of a dataset through measures of central tendency and dispersion.
Central Tendency
- Mean: The mathematical average, sensitive to outliers.
- Median: The middle value, ideal for skewed distributions.
- Mode: The most frequently occurring value in a set.
Dispersion Measures
- Range: The difference between the highest and lowest values.
- Standard Deviation: Indicates how much values deviate from the mean.
- Variance: The square of the standard deviation, representing data spread.
